Our rules are based upon the flag football rules laid out by the USFTL and interpreted locally and enforced as such. Every attempt is made by all members of NWOFF, LLC.to provide safe and orderly play in conjunction with the rules set forth. However injuries may occur and this aspect of our game should be carefully considered prior to your participation. If you are in anyway concerned about the amount of contact involved you should not participate. Also, if you have any questions about what is or is not allowed by the rules in our game please feel free to contact me and I will clarify any rules that may concern you. This is not an attempt to discourage anyone from participating, only an attempt to make players aware of the possibility of injury playing a sport that involves some degree of contact. I thought all teams were on there best behavior and there were some very competitive and intense games considering the weather!! High highly recommend that Toledo teams play in the Findlay Tourney listed below. Some of the best teams in the country will be playing in this tourney and it could become the second largest tournament in Ohio this year next to the State Tourney. If your team cannot go and play, try to make it down and watch. You will see a lot of different offenses and defenses that you won’t normally see here in Toledo, it’s a great flag football learning experience. I will be scheduling that week off in our Spring league so teams / players can go down and play.
